Meet Our Team
Pia Hazebroek – Director
I have been with Kinburra Preschool since October 2018. Originally from Sydney but spent a large portion of my life in Indonesia, where I worked at the Australian International School. I returned to Australia for my child to start Kindergarten. I have been on the Coast for ten years and love the relaxed lifestyle. I love the beach, walking my dogs, heading to the gym and spending time with my family. I believe in creating inclusive environments where all children feel valued and respected for their unique identities and abilities. I like sharing my knowledge of languages and different country cultures with the children in my care, acknowledging and celebrating diversity.
Dianna Agius – Administration
I have been working in Early Childhood since 2003 and have been at Kinburra Preschool since 2020. I love the energy and joy children bring and being able to see them grow and develop new skills every day. Outside of Kinburra I have three sons. I enjoy walks along the beach, travelling and spending time with my family.
Nicole Reynolds – Early Childhood Teacher
I joined Kinburra in December 2024, bringing with me over 22 years experience in Early Childhood Education. I'm deeply passionate about nurturing and supporting children as they grow and develop into the best version of themselves. I strongly believe in creating an inclusive environment where every child feels safe, valued, and secure. Recently, I completed my Trainer and Assessor qualification, which has enhanced my ability to mentor and support our team of educators. Outside of work, I'm a proud mum of three wonderful children. You'll often find me cheering on the sidelines at soccer games, poolside, or enjoying my daughter's dance performances.
Harmony Vince – Early Childhood Teacher
I have been a Teacher at Kinburra Preschool since 2022 and have been working in the industry since 2015.
I’m passionate about supporting children during their earliest and most critical years of development. I value child led, play-based learning environments and authentic experiences that are inclusive of each child’s interests, learning styles, and developmental needs. My goal is to help every child feel confident, valued, and proud of who they are.
Outside of work, I enjoy bushwalking, going to the gym, gardening, cooking, reading, spending time at the beach, and creating memories with my own children.
Jack Stevenson – Certificate 3
I have been working in Early Education and Care for seven years. I have been with Kinburra Preschool since October 2017. I love working with children as it is full of laughs and fun. It is so rewarding to see their joy and excitement each time they discover and learn something new. In my spare time I represent the Central Coast playing baseball and coaching children 3-18 years in several Junior leagues for the Northern Beaches. I love the beach and going to new places.
Alix Martin – Diploma
I have been fortunate to be part of Kinburra since January 2024. Having lived in this beautiful area my entire life, I feel grateful to now be raising my two children here as well. As an educator, I value each child’s unique personality and support their growth through play-based learning and meaningful experiences. I strive to build strong, trusting relationships with children and their families, fostering confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning. I believe every child has their own strengths and abilities, which deserve to be nurtured in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Erin Wallace – Diploma
I have been working in Early Childcare since 2008. I have always known that I would work within the environment that involves children as I am very passionate about the journey of development and growth they take and ensuring that children are given the best tools in order to achieve this. In my spare time, I like to ride my bike along the lake with my son and train in the Martial Art of Taekwondo. I currently hold a 2nd Dan in this art.
Hayley Darlington – Diploma
As an early childhood educator and passionate ceramic artist, I have been working in early childhood education since 2010. I am committed to creating meaningful learning environments where every child feels safe, valued, and inspired to explore the world around them. I bring creativity and a love of artistic expression into my teaching.
Growing up on Wiradjuri Country in Dubbo, NSW, has strongly influenced who I am as an educator. Being surrounded by rich Indigenous culture and history sparked a lasting commitment to embedding Indigenous perspectives into the curriculum in genuine and respectful ways.
Outside of my professional life, I am a proud mum to an active young son who loves the outdoors. As a family, we enjoy hiking, snorkelling, and spending time along the coast, exploring the local flora and fauna together.
Tracy Johnson – Diploma
I have been part of Early Years Education and Care for over 11 years, and it is something I feel deeply passionate about. I love creating a space that feels warm, welcoming, and safe—where children feel heard, included, and free to be their bright, wonderful selves.
I believe every child is capable, confident, and full of magic. I feel so lucky to walk alongside them as their imaginations sparkle, their ideas grow, and their sense of wonder shines.
When I’m not at Preschool, you’ll usually find me at the beach, spending time with my family, wandering on bush walks, or discovering freshwater swimming holes—little adventures that make my heart happy.
