Celebrating Families

At Kinburra, events such as Mother's, Father’s and Grandparent’s Day are a special opportunity to celebrate the vital role families play in children’s learning and development. Ingrained in the principles of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), this celebration reinforces children's sense of identity and strengthens their connections with loved ones.
Strongly aligning with Outcome 1: Children have a strong sense of identity and Outcome 2: Children are connected with and contribute to their world. During these special celebrations, Kinburra children engage in meaningful experiences such as crafting cards, making personalised small gifts, and expressing their thoughts about their families and significant caregivers through small group discussions.
We welcome families for a morning/afternoon tea celebration, families spend time exploring and engaging in activities with their children, fostering a sense of community and connection. Connecting to the National Quality Standard (NQS) Quality Area 6 – Collaborative partnerships with families and communities, highlighting the importance of family engagement in early learning settings.
To all the Mothers, Fathers, Grandparents, and caregivers in our community, we thank you for your love, support, and partnership.
